(Colorado Springs, CO) - SMSC continues to develop as one of the best and was recognized as such this week by USA Swimming. SMSC was awarded the BRONZE Medal of acheivement for its performances over 2006. The National Club Excellence program recognizes the top 200 clubs in the country. (East Meadow, NY) - Our last day at Nationals concluded today with Jamie Furber competing in the 800 Freestyle, lowering his personal best a few seconds to 8:46. The girls relay team of Samantha Lougee, Erica Brannon, Rachael Wahl and Meghan Zimmer managed to win their heat against Arizona State and Canyons in the 400 Medley Relay.
