  (Santa Maria, CA) - After each weekend's swim meet results are sent to USA Swimming, the organization runs a quick simulation that literally pits each and every team in America against each other and re-ranks based on current results. After just a few meet weekends in the 2010-2011 Short Course Club rankings, SMSC is currently ranked 15th in Souther California Swimming and 199th in the Nation. Keep up the good work!

  USA Swimming ranks age group programs across the country each season in its Virtual Club Championships in both short course yards and long course meters. The season runs from September 1 to August 31 of each year, for both courses.   (Colorado Springs, CO) - USA Swimming released the official 2012 Olympic Trials cuts on Friday evening. Santa Maria Swim Club athlete Josh Prenot managed to have 3 events with just under 2 years left to the USA Team Selection meet.  (Kihei, Maui, HI) - The Junior Pan Pacific Games continued this morning with the day 3 preliminaries. TEAM USA maintains a narrow lead over Australia with two days left to score points. Josh Prenot managed a 19th place finish in the Men's 100m Butterfly, possibly his weakest event at the Games. As the 4th fastest American, he will most likely not swim in the finals this evening. 56.6 is still his 3rd fastest time of his swimming career to date. Prenot managed to come out of the preliminaries in 5th place and the 2nd fastest American headed into tonight's finals.   (Maui, HI) - Josh Prenot is getting a lifetime experience representing TEAM USA at the Junior PAN PACIFIC Games in Kihei. Qualifying 8th in the morning preliminaries, Prenot came off the wall in the final 100 at night to pass Sato of Japan and Dimitriov of Canada to finsih 6th in the Men's 200m Butterfly.
