PAN PACIFIC GAMES Update Finals Day 1

 
(Maui, HI) - Josh Prenot is getting a lifetime experience representing TEAM USA at the Junior PAN PACIFIC Games in Kihei. Qualifying 8th in the morning preliminaries, Prenot came off the wall in the final 100 at night to pass Sato of Japan and Dimitriov of Canada to finsih 6th in the Men's 200m Butterfly. Prenot's time of 2:02.50 was the 2nd fastest American time behind Stubblefield who placed 2nd. It was also an SMSC Team Record.

TEAM USA leads the competition by only 20 points over Australia. The meet has 3 days left. Prenot swims his signature event, the 400 IM, today.
