NCSA Junior Nationals Off To A Great Start

(Orlando,FL) - The NCSA Junior Nationals, with almost 2000 athletes from around the Country, had its first full day of competition on Wednesday.
Four SMSC athletes are here to compete with scores of college coaches in attendance as well.
Elizabeth Pulido, ranked over 100 in the 200 Back, managed an SMSC team record of 2:01, qualifying for finals. In the evening, she came back to finish 30th.
The Women's 800 Free Relay of Hernandez, Pulido, Hendrick and Bramble also managed to shine with an SMSC team record and winning their heat.
Coach Ashmore had this to say, "this represents years of hard work by these athletes. They've done a tremendous job in crowded conditions. SMSC should be proud of their example."
The meet continues through Saturday.
