Prenot qualifies for National Youth Team

(Irvine, CA) - Josh Prenot participated in the longest meet of his life this past week. It was actually two meets. Competing at the U.S. National Championships in the first week, Prenot swam to a 4:23.90 in the 400 IM, shattering his own SMSC Men's Team Record and finishing 17th in the country.

The following week, at the U.S. Junior Nationals, Prenot took 17th again, this time in the 200 Fly with a 2:02.80. The performances over the 10 days of competition were good enough to put him on the USA National Youth Team. The National Youth Team travels internationally representing the USA in the next year and is an integral part of the US Olympic Development pipeline.
