Swimmer of the Meet - SBSC IMx

 
(Santa Barbara) - SMSC came right off the Memorial Day Invitational and headed down to Santa Barbara for the IMx Challenge. The meet measures an athletes versatility across a multitude of events, using Power Points that award you not by place, but how relatively fast your time is.

Swimmer of the Meet accolades in the Presenior group went to Danielle "Cheeto" McCulloch with a strong showing across all 7 events.

Swimmer of the Meet from the Gold group:

The theme of the gold group for the weekend was to step out of their comfort zones.  Two people that stepped way out of their comfort zones are Christa Weston and Alex Saleen.  Christa has worked very hard to overcome her breathing problems and achieved two best times in the process.  Alex swam his first legal 200 Breast and had a great race in his first ever 400 IM.  Great Job!
