Coach Ryan honored for heroism...

(Santa Maria) - Silver Group Coach Ryan Drom was honored at the Allan Hancock College EMT Academy graduation for heroism on Friday. Coach Ryan, who also works at Olive Garden, was serving one evening when an infant began choking. Coach Ryan acted quickly, performing the Heimlich maneuver on the infant.

Coach Ryan has been coaching the Silver group for 6 months and also and Emergency Medical Technician.
